How We Got Our Name
Apple Blossom may seem like an unusual name for an insulating company. It is, until you know how it came to be.
The Phil Smith Company has been Weatherizing and Retrofitting insulation in homes for the low-income and elderly in the Department of Energy's Weatherization Assistance Program for approximately 15 years. Need for name recognition was non-existent. This fall, however, the decision to be a force in providing quality Retrofit Insulation to the general public necessitated a name we could brand and the possibility of name recognition.
OK, but why Apple Blossom? Well, we buy our cellulose insulation from Applegate Insulation. We invited Blossom Home Improvement Co to join us in our strategy to service the Retrofit Insulation market and Viola! Apple Blossom Insulators.
